The goal of this 60-minute question and answer session is to define intensive feeding therapy, clarify terminology around feeding approaches, and assist with determination of intensive feeding program readiness. In addition, we hope to prepare families for life during an intensive feeding program and manage expectations and commitment post intensive feeding therapy as children and their families navigate toward their long-term goal of eating and drinking as developmentally typical as possible.

Dr. Michelle Mastin is a clinical psychologist and the program director of the Children’s of Alabama Intensive Feeding Program.
